Even if mobile devices can access to the web, the comfort is radically different from a laptop/desktop point of view. The handsets have different screen sizes, different embedded technologies, different OS, different ways to display the same web content... A mobile device is also less practical to digit text or a URL.

• 2D-Codes such as QR Codes or Datamatrix: the end-user takes a picture of the code with his cellphone, a local application will analyze it and display it as text (all kind of messages are possible such as URL, events, coupon,…).
